I need a hairstyle for an important date!?

Going to the amusement park to meet a guy for a date. I have long blonde hair, want to wear it down seeings that seems to be a winner with most guys. But with roller coasters, wind, etc... Not sure. Mom though I should put pigtails in just above my ears. I am 18 and have mature face. (people think I am 25) She thought it looks adorable but to me they lookimmaturee, I will be with a guy of course. So I need hair ideas! No braids or buns, any way for me to wear my hair down and have it neat? I like my ponytails but what to look nice. Please help!
