My grandma is so strict!?

My grandmother came to live with us a few weeks ago. but know she has gotten out of hand! Do you know what she did? While I was getting ready for school, i put on ripped skinny jeans and a tye-dye hoodie. She freaked out and decided to punish me. She told me to put on this. it was like a long skirt and a ruffly white blouse and she put my hair in pigtails with big bows! She tucked in my shirt and wouldn't even let me wear a bra with it so i looked terrible! She brought me to school and walked me in and made me hold her hand then in front of a bunch of my friends and the boy I like she planted a huge ruby red lipstick kiss on both my cheeks and my forehead. I looked so terrible. When i got home I started crying and she told me if I wanted to act like a baby and cry then i could so she made me sit in the corner like i'm 2! Then she told me to take a bath so she stayed in the bathroom with me washing me and know she does this everyday! THen once I brought home a C+ on a math test, she freaked out! And then she decided to totally humiliate me. So what she did was treated me like a baby the whole day! She made me undress in front of her and then she made me get into a wunzie and but in a binky! And she fed me baby food the whole day and made me only drink formula out of a baby bottle! And i had to wear a diaper and she had to push me in a baby carriage everywear! And the worst part was she said when she passed my friends: " isn't Katherine a chubby baby! And she took my friends into a store and just like you know like lifted my shirt up to my well like halfway up and they saw me and i am kinda chubby when im sitting like almost everybody is. And know everyone calls me chubs awubs and stuff! Help me please! i wanted to punch her and I had to wear a bonnet! Okay please tell me what I should do honestly cause she's terrible. Anyone know online support groups for separation?

I have been going through a horrible situation. My boyfriend of a year and a half returned to Japan and is now not allowed to return. He was here in the US on a student visa and unfortunately his father is forcing him to stay in Japan. I have been heartbroken since I found out. Good news is that he is going to take over his father's business and try to bring it here to the US. It'll be years til that happens but we are determined to make it work. He is the best thing that ever happened to me and I can completely trust him. Thank God. I just need support right now since it will be at least 6 months til we see each other next. I feel like dying because he and I were 24/7 for that year and a half now its suddenly reduced to 6 months til I see him next. The online support groups I saw online dealt with separation and divorce. We are still together and I just need a forum to express where other people are going though similar situations. Does God even care about me?

All my life I've been depressed, lonely and accumulating anger inside. I evwn want to kill myself at least once a night. All these people keep telling me to turn to God all the time but what does God care? Honestly I feel like if I turn to God or Jesus I'll just end up becoming a blind worshiper who becomes a religions robot. I feel like God wants me to suffer because he will send me to Hell if I kill myself but living is just hurting me in so many ways. I hate this world and most of the people in it due to their ignorance and destruction of the Earth. However I'm aware that God wants me to act as if everything is good. He sends his creations to the pits of absolute agony and anguish yet will only love those who worship in his name and obey his every rule. Isn't that a bit egoism? I don't wanna keep feeling depressed and wantting to kill myself but I also don't want to become a Jesus loving robot, especially since I have yet to experience any of God's miracles. Am I really suppose to believe everything in a book just out of fear that if I don't I'll burn in Hell? Why would God care about someone like me who quesion his motives. I believe in a higher power just I doubt it'll help my depression and loneliness. I wanna fall in love yet God does not seem to want me to. They say God has a grand plan but I don't think there's one for me. Without going religion crazy please give your feed back... does God really care about me or anyone for that matter?

Is it possible for a Cancer woman and Pisces man to move on?

I am a Cancer woman and I dated a Pisces man. We were only together for a few months, but I really felt like I had found my soul mate. He did too. We had our little disagreements, but we were so in love. And still are to this day. Long story short, I got pregnant. Our initial plan was to get engaged and move in together and have our own happy family. But his drinking problems began to surface, and being a Pisces, he would rather slip into a dream world than to face the reality of having a child at such a young age (we're both 21). I'm afraid I'll always be in love with him and will never be able to move on. I'm not ready to move on any time soon, but eventually?? What if he really was my soul mate, and I spend the rest of my life just settling for the next best thing? Farewell to Nova Scotia?

Hi. Don't know if you can help me or not, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. I am trying to find a certain, SPECIFIC recording of the song "Farewell to Nova Scotia", and thought that perhaps someone there could point me towards who might have done it. I received a copy of it on cassette when I was young, given to me by my music teacher at the time. It's a very nice recording, by a MALE singer, and prefaced by a narrator speaking about the song, and the feelings expressed in it. He talks of the feeling between a man and his country "whether it be the peaks of the rocky mountains, or the coast of Nova Scotia", and how "often a singer will express these feelings in a song" (these quotes may not be exact but they are very close). I would have received the cassette around 1982-84. I can't say for sure, but the narration didn't sound like a radio program, more like it may have been from an album extolling the virtues of canadiana. I don't recall any pronounced accent. For a long time I had thought it might be Burton Cummings (which it is not), but that gives an idea of the type of voice. Maybe.

How to overcome my insecurities?

I've always been insecure, about everything about me. Mainly my size, I'm 5'5 and 118lbs, I frequently watch was I eat constantly and count my calories. I'm not over weight but I don't see myself as skinny. My mom and friends constantly roll there eyes, and yell at me when I try to express how I feel about my size. They think I'm beyond skinny, and jaw aneroxic habits because I don't see myself as skinny? Sometimes I wake up in the morning and just cry because I feel so fat, I don't know really what to do. Totoro & little girl question?

In "My Neighbor Totoro" the 2 disks dvd package comes with a photo of ONE little girl in PIGTAILS at a bus stop but the movie has a little girl with short hair,that girl had no pigtails at all in the movie. What can I do with my short hair?!?!?

Character obsession issues?

I have this problem where I get obsessed with characters a lot. Like, with male characters it's usually someone I think is good-looking and I love their personality and I get like a major crush on them and actually doodle RB+(initials) all over my notebook. How should I handle this situation involving my ex?

So about 3 weeks ago my boyfriend decided to end things between us after a 5 month relationship. My boyfriend left for another country to vacation with a good female friend of his, should I be worried?

He has remained in contact with this friend of his whom he met in college, they have a lot in common, and the girl is currently studying/working in India. I have the same problem as "S", because my "from" name in yahoo is different than my "from" name in Outlook Express. I used to watch this kids movie all the time at my grandma's house, what is it called?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I'm gonna start off by saying this is not a cartoon, it has real people. It's been several years since I've seen this movie so bear with me. I think the movie might start off with two kids coloring in a coloring book, a boy and a girl, and somehow, maybe they get sucked into the coloring book and all the character's clothes are in black and white because they're all fighting for some reason and the main character girl, from the coloring book, is wearing, maybe overalls and they're big black and white stripes and her hair is in pigtails, I think! (It's not Rainbow Bright) But there are different "families" and each family wears a different color. no im not lying. She really does hate me. There is something mentally wrong with her (professional people have said this) and anyone can see it. She left my dad after 18 years, and they are in there second year of getting divorced. She kicked my sister out and me and my twin brother are living with her every other week, and my dad the rest of the time. I mean i love my dad. You could make Demelza like Isla, but she wants the power so badly so she's willing to kill her to get what she wants. That way, you can tell how dangerous she is since she'll do anything to gain power. You could also make the assasination attempt to kill Isla longer, drawn out, and with many parts to the plan. Then you can give Demelza something to focus on during the story. A character's personality is also an indication of whether they are good or evil. So her thought process could clue readers in to her true self. I hope this helps.

My Mac Mail client has suddenly stopped accessing my Yahoo mail POP account and I can't figure out why?

My Mac Mail on my laptop suddenly stopped functioning with my Yahoo mail account (my iPhone continues to work fine). I'm not getting any error messages, just an exclamation mark indicating something is wrong. I've searched Yahoo Mail help to see if the settings have changed (which doesn't really make sense because my phone has the same setting and still works) but found nothing. EXCEPT that in one place on Yahoo help, the incoming server listed as pop.mail.yahoo.com and then in another place it's listed as plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com (thanks yahoo). Same was true for the outgoing smpt servers (one had the plus and one didn't). I tried both, but neither setting fixed the problem. My Mail client is continuing to check all other email accounts fine. Yahoo doesn't seem to have anything officially describing the settings for Mac Mail like they do for Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Netscape Communicator etc... Anyway, would love an answer...perhaps it's finally time to leave Yahoo?

we have been married for 18months but together for 4years. I have insercurity problem which do stop us doing alot and cause ALOT of arguements. My husband wanted me to get professional help as it ruining our relationship so i have and that was 5 weeks ago. My husband has always either been very kind and loving about my problem or he will be the total opposite.. shouting screaming, not understanding and sometimes things get physica between usl. Why do americans assume their law which is actually state by state, is right all the times?

Some one who was 23 had asked about 16 and someone said they were a pervert because that is illegal but its not illegal in all states even over there and its far healthier relative to the fifity year old man who had asked the parents permission to marry someone of said age, still not saying its completely healthy at least at first. And in britain yes one would probably get comments for that and people would at first wonder about it but in a year folk would forget about it any way as 17 and 24 is really not so bad. I mean it is dodgy when someone is 16 but is not illegal i find it strange people are saying wait to 18 when thats not the law in many places, at the end of day most of the globe has age 16/17 and therefore that age becomes boderline acceptable whereas, correctly few places have 15 because its wrong, but its a bit incorrect to call someone a pervert if someone is 16 and bodering on rediculous if you find a 17 year old attractive its just plain aggressive unless your like 30 in which case the motives may be more suspect than a genuine attraction. I guess if an older man was continuely attracted to only 17 year olds they would be wrong but not if it were just one, an older man who acts on attraction to some one under 16 though is very wrong/perverted. I just think that terming people perverts should be keep for the more serious and less grey cases as if you band it about how would you feel if it were ure son/daughter that had those names when they werent actually breaking any laws of a given country or state thus infering they were the same as someone who acted illegally. And why would an older woman with a younger man be fine but the converse perverted yet both were legal? I think 16 in the uk is correct and well I wont apologise for thinking the current law is ok when law makers the world over agree, even in right wing america, I think higher impacts on liberty and lower destroys protection of the vulnerable, and up to a point, the balance of where someone thinks the law should be set is a personal issue but obviously some would have warped views far from consenseus and morality. But I personally would probably only date some of 17, as the hassle for a start would be too much unless it was the one you were sure you wanted to be with for the rest of time then a few dirty looks and acceptance would be worth it, luckily such situations dont happen to often lol. You are your worst enemy. You act cranky and tell us all about your weak sides and being not a nice person to be with...Maybe you didn't really like this particular guy but there was nothing wrong in wanting to get to know you...in the future please learn to like yourself. You need to get more self esteem, then you will see that a guy would want to be with you just because you are an interesting person and some may have ulterior motives such as just wanting to get you into bed after a first date, but not all guys are like that...you have to set your standards higher...and tell them right at the beginning that you want to take it slow and that you will go out on a date but that you will go home alone and nothing is going to happen on a first date apart from talking and getting to know each other ....then a guy who likes you knows where he stands, if he still wants to go out with you, then he really wants to get to know you and be friends first and if there is mutual attraction then you build on that and when the time is right for both of you, you take it to a higher level.. you have the power to say 'I only want to be friends first and get to know you better' if a guy sticks around after you told him that then he really cares about you...but all that stuff you say about yourself shows you don't have a high opinion of yourself...in order for others to like you, you need to learn to like yourself and it's good to admit ones faults and weaknesses but everybody has strenghts too and positive things about them..., so don't say you aren 't worth it...believe you are worth it and behave nice toward a nice guy. x
