Facing the Parent Against "Learning Through Play"?

As a teacher or supervisorr you definelty come across these type of parents wanting you to use dittos, and saying the child is just playing, you can tell them the child is using critical thinking, makingdecisionss learning to be independent, the first parent meeting should solve this problem for the center the supervisor should address this and have information like Piaget and others talk about child's choice and pre-school reading and pre-school writing I used to explain by having materials present and showing techniques like a easel for pre-writing skills and the child using the brush and making scribbles, the first stages of writing. The parents are welcome to come in the classroom and add things to lesson plan, but you have to get the information out there the first parent meeting is the place, at the very beginning of the semester or year.
