What should I do with my hair?

As you can see in my profile picture I wear my hair in buns with tails coming down. I want a new hairstyle. My hairstyle has always been a royal moon family tradition, so I want to mix it up. I want to keep the buns (maybe reshape them... not cones, maybe in the shape of moons...) but should I shorten my hair or keep it long? pigtails or hair coming down? What do you think?
