Why would anyone want me/want to deal with me?

You are your worst enemy. You act cranky and tell us all about your weak sides and being not a nice person to be with...Maybe you didn't really like this particular guy but there was nothing wrong in wanting to get to know you...in the future please learn to like yourself. You need to get more self esteem, then you will see that a guy would want to be with you just because you are an interesting person and some may have ulterior motives such as just wanting to get you into bed after a first date, but not all guys are like that...you have to set your standards higher...and tell them right at the beginning that you want to take it slow and that you will go out on a date but that you will go home alone and nothing is going to happen on a first date apart from talking and getting to know each other ....then a guy who likes you knows where he stands, if he still wants to go out with you, then he really wants to get to know you and be friends first and if there is mutual attraction then you build on that and when the time is right for both of you, you take it to a higher level.. you have the power to say 'I only want to be friends first and get to know you better' if a guy sticks around after you told him that then he really cares about you...but all that stuff you say about yourself shows you don't have a high opinion of yourself...in order for others to like you, you need to learn to like yourself and it's good to admit ones faults and weaknesses but everybody has strenghts too and positive things about them..., so don't say you aren 't worth it...believe you are worth it and behave nice toward a nice guy. x
